In the wake of Julian Assange’s long-awaited freedom, I’ve reimagined the "Free Assange Now" series, transforming it into a profound reflection on the essence of free speech and the power of truth. The original series was inspired by Assange’s story and the global struggle for freedom, consisting of 21 unique pieces. However, the day the first print was set for auction coincided with Assange's release, prompting me to edit the remaining 20 prints.

The re-edited series, titled "Freedom of Speech," features the powerful statement: “SPEAKING THE TRUTH IS NOT A CRIME.” This message resonates deeply in a world where revealing the truth can come at a grave cost. Assange’s plea of guilt to regain his freedom underscores the tragic reality that exposing governmental wrongdoing has become a punishable offense, while those who commit such crimes often go unpunished. This sets a troubling precedent for all of us.

Each print in this series was reedited with a layer of spray paint and a new screen-printed layer. The artwork is constructed from countless tiny dots, symbolizing how each individual contributes to the larger tapestry of society. Alone, we may seem insignificant, but together, we create a powerful collective voice.
