Mixed media: hand-printed screen print on paper, coated with tiny glass beads—the same reflective material used for street and road markings.
This piece emerged from the artist’s experience working on a different street art project, which led to experimenting with materials commonly found in public spaces. These elements became the foundation for this series, merging the aesthetics of the street with the precision of fine art.
The work reinterprets Chile’s national coat of arms, which bears the motto “By Reason or by Force,” questioning the idea that progress must depend on coercion. Instead, it invites reflection on how life could improve if guided by the strength of our reasoning.
The star, the only element rendered in bright Bitcoin orange, becomes a symbol of clarity and awakening. It suggests that by thinking deeply, we may discover a new path: Bitcoin.
Two of the artist’s prints were placed publicly on the streets of Santiago de Chile, while the complete series remains available.
